What surfaces can WoodArmor™ be used on?

WoodArmor™ is designed for exterior wood surfaces, including decks, fences, outdoor furniture, and other exterior wood structures. It can also be used on the inside of exterior doors and furniture in areas that are low wear. Avoid use on indoor surfaces frequently exposed to alcohol, disinfectants or harsh cleaners.

Do I need a primer or topcoat? Do I need to thin it with water before application?

No. WoodArmor™ is an all-in-one, ready-to-use water-based wood finish. No primer, topcoat, or water mixing is required. Simply stir well before use and apply directly to a properly prepared surface.

How do I apply WoodArmor™?

WoodArmor™ can be applied with a brush, roller, paint sprayer, or paint pad. For the best finish, we recommend using a brush.

How long does it take to dry?

WoodArmor™ is ready for a second coat in as little as 1 hour. Light use is possible after 24 hours, while full curing takes approximately 7 days. Drying and curing times may vary depending on temperature and humidity.

How many coats should I apply?

We recommend applying at least 2 coats. Depending on the wood species and its porosity, 3 coats may deliver the best appearance and long-lasting protection.
